The App requires certain permissions to function correctly:

• Camera: Used for scanning QR codes (e.g., for gate passes or attendance).
• Storage/Files: Used for selecting and uploading documents or profile pictures.
• Notifications: Used to send important updates about leave requests, complaints, and gate passes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for:

• Providing and maintaining the App's services.
• Managing user accounts and roles.
• Facilitating communication (e.g., notifications for approvals).
• Improving the App through analytics and crash reporting.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Storage). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, database, storage, and cloud messaging.
• Google Fonts: For typography within the App.

5. Account Deletion and Data Removal

We provide a clear way for users to request the deletion of their account and all associated data. You can request deletion through the following methods:

• In-App: Go to your Profile settings and select "Delete Account" (if available in your version).
• By Email: Send an email to the hostel administration or the developer at the contact address provided below with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Upon receiving a valid request, we will delete your personal information, including your name, email, and profile data, from our active databases within 30 days, unless we are required to retain specific data for legal or administrative purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your information. You can manage most of your data through your profile settings in the App.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services.
